Truro School Chapel lies within the grounds of Truro School – go to the visitor’s car park and follow the directions out, and this takes you past the chapel on the left.

1879: Truro Wesleyan Middle Class College was founded by Wesleyan Methodists.

1882: The present site was completed. (Cornwall Council Heritage Gateway)

8 June 1927: Truro School Chapel laid by David, Prince of Wales, the future Edward VIII.

Truro College, a late C19 Methodist private school for boys. Built in 1882, the school moving from No. 4 Strangways Terrace. Built in the Gothic style on an elevated site overlooking the Truro River and the City of Truro and is a large distinctive building of local stone with stone dressings under a dry slate roof.
