Marazion is a town, on the shore of Mount’s Bay. It is 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Penzance and the tidal island of St Michael’s Mount is half-a-mile offshore. This profile of Marazion Bible Christian Chapel has been compiled by Jo Lewis and Tony Mansell.

An ‘Ebenezer’ [Possibly not Ebeneezer as that term was used for the west end Methodist Free Church built in 1862] Bible Christian chapel was built at this location in 1841. Recorded on the 1st and 2nd Edition 1:2500 1880 and 1907 OS Maps and shown on the 1930’s OS Revision but not labelled. A congregation of Bible Christians had met in houses in Marazion from 1815. Newspaper reports of Marazion Bible Christian Chapel cease in 1901, indicating that it was extremely unlikely that the movement extended its life beyond that date by moving to another chapel.
