The Mission Room is not indicated on maps.

Thought to be in Buller’s Terrace, East End, Redruth.

There are also references to a Drump Road Town Mission and it is possible they were one and the same, around the junction of the two roads.

1909: “At the Redruth East End Mission Room on Christmas Day an entertainment was held, presided over by Mr. R. Dunn there being a good attendance…” (Cornubian and Redruth Times – Thursday 30 December 1909)

1910-1920: Minutes, Sunday School, East End Wesleyan Mission Room, Redruth. (Kresen Kernow MRR/5024)

1921: “Redruth. At the East End Wesley Mission Junior Guild an Interesting address was given by Mrs. Roynon, and recitations were contributed by Miss Gwen Bosanko. There was line attendance.” (Cornubian and Redruth Times – Thursday 03 February 1921)

1923: “Redruth Sale of Work. Members of Redruth East End Wesleyan Mission held a successful sale of in the Mission Hall on Thursday, on behalf of the Mission renovation fund.” (West Briton and Cornwall Advertiser – Thursday 12 April 1923)

20 Jun 1923: Lease, East End Wesleyan Mission Room, Redruth. Parties: 1) Charles Bawden and Stephen Sara of Redruth 2) Anthony Hart, Richard S Edwards and Sampson Rutter of Redruth. East End Wesleyan Mission Room, Buller’s Terrace, Redruth. Rent: £1. Term: 7 years from 25 March 1923. Includes schedule of deeds. (Kresen Kernow MRR/1668)
