“It has always been known as the Meeting House and was the home of Leedstown W.I. all my early years in the village, something I confirmed just after when I visited an old school chum with a more detailed connection with the village than me. It was always a lowly building but smart and had a lovely lantern/lamp post outside. Obviously, the large window is a later addition, as is the skylight and the metal stack.” (Paul Phillips)
