Trenowin is north of Crowlas from Lower Quarter. This profile of Trenowin Wesleyan Chapel has been compiled by Jo Lewis and Tony Mansell.

 

The chapel is to the east of the road between Lower and Upper Trenowin farms.

 

1847: Chapel founded in 1847.

Seating for 200. (West Penwith Resources)

1851: Peter Rowe was steward. (West Penwith Resources)

1873: Not mentioned in the survey. (West Penwith Resources)

1877: Maps show a building on the same site but it is not marked as a chapel.

1908: Strangely not shown on maps as a chapel prior to this date.

1980s: Converted to dwelling.
